Course Objective

The aim of this course is to demonstrate the importance of reception theory which is a method in literary studies in literary translation by practice.

2   Evaluate the role of the reception theory and hermeneutics in literary translation.
3   Comprehend the importance of the background knowledge of the translator in literary translation.
