Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of the modernization process in Turkey.

4   4. The comparisons of the modernization processes in Europe and Turkey

6   6. The reasons of the difficulties faced during the modernization process in the Republican Era
7   7. The comparison of the history of Turkish modernization and European modernization
