Course Objective

Using methods of musical analysis and non-mısical analysis in prosess of musical resarch.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Describe the cases necessary for the musical analysis in prosess of musical resarch,
2   To make transcription and analysis of popular music samples,
3   Interprete popular music genres and subgenres as part of their cultural and sound qualities,
4   To make lyric analysis and music video analysis in prosess of musical resarch,
5   Define the basic literature of music analysis in musicology.
