Course Objective

This course is designed to enable students to gain technical, artistic, aesthetic and musical abilities by analysing and performing pieces from classical ballet repertoire. These, with other exercises, will prepare students for stage and help them form a dancer identity.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understand main principals of dance and interpret variation-solo-duet-trio group dances
2   Take part in projects where pieces he/she learned are being performed
3   Improve his/her technical, practical and artistic abilities and fitness
4   Tranfer/explain technical and practical aspects using his/her own abilities
