Course Objective

To apply the provisions of Social Insurance and Health Insurance Law numbered 5510 related to the long term and short term insurance branches to the concrete examples of events

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to concept of social law, social security and social insurance to relate the case law and judicial case
2   Being able to compare International social security agreements and Turkish Social Security Law by giving examples of outlined legislation
3   Being able to relate premium and without premium system regulation with concrete case studies and judical decisions
4   Being able to explain the law of social insurance and general health insurance by Law numbered 5510 and people who are subjected this law with concrete studies
5   Being able to apply basic priciples and rules about short term insurance branch of the law of social insurance and general health insurance by article 5510 with concrete case studies
6   Being able to apply basic priciples and rules about long term insurance branch of the law of social insurance and general health insurance by article 5510 with concrete case studies
7   Being able to apply basic priciples and rules about optional insurance branch of the law of social insurance and general health insurance by article 5510 with concrete case studies

1 Case study and supreme Court decisions analyses related to the concepts of social security and social insurance
2 Comparaison international isocial security agreements with the Turkish social security legislations by studying on cases and examining Supreme Court Decisions
3 Case study related to the application of Law numbered 5510 on individuals who are deemed to be holders of universal health insurance
4 Case study related to the scope of the law of 5510 according to time and place
5 Case study related to the Finance and premiums of the law numbered 5510
6 Case study related to the work accident and occupational disease and examination of Supreme Court Decisions in the light of these subjects

8 Midterm exam
9 Case study related to Sickness and maternity status and insurance
10 Case study related to Old - age insurance and social security support premium
11 Case study related to Death and invalidity insurance
12 Case study related to the conditions of use of the General Health Insurance Policies and performance in the sense provided
13 Case study related to Common terms of the law of 5510 about all insurances and Administrative fines
