Course Objective

This course aims to establish the organizations of the seminars which will be presented by private/public institutions, graduate students, academicians, specialists in the field, etc. to provide support for the Department of Textile and Fashion Design students education and training, to improve their cultural accumulation, to develop their equipment which enables them to practice their profession effectively

1   To have an idea about new developments in textile and fashion design
2   To benefit from experts in the field
3   Accessing information and to make use of it by establishing relationships with different areas of specialization
4   To develop self-confidence which is based on personal communication and background

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

After the presentations which are prepared by experts in the field, it wil be tried in order to raise awareness, that the questions which are based on learning by sharing mutual knowledge will be asked.

At the end of the seminars, the students will be asked to prepare a homework which is related to the main seminar topics, instead of the exam.

Competence of the homework, in the direction of the information they have recived at the end of seminers
