Course Objective

Basic factors such as raw material, yarn, texture, color gain importance in the designs using weaving technique possibilities. In this course, hard, soft, glossy, matte, volume, opaque, transparent innovative tissue researches will be made in the conscious applications of design elements and new applications.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the relationship between material, yarn and texture in weaving design
2   To know the effect of the preferred technique on texture in weaving design
3   To examine the effects of material, yarn, knitting and color on the tissue separately and to develop conscious design.
