Course Objective

Building gender awareness about culture and social life and earned the practicle knowledge about gender inequality and its struggles.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defining gender roles and reflection to the society.
2   understanding the relations gender inequalities and VAW
3   Understanding global health issues related to the VAW
4   Understanding magnitude of the VAW in the world and in this country
5   Learning types of the VAW
6   Awareness the needs for health professionals to identification and referral of the victim
7   Learning their professional responses and its values in combating violence against women
8   .Learning referral procedures for victims of VAW in this country
9   Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence CETS No.: 210
