Course Objective

Warehouses is one of the working area of the logistic students and workers. So, the aim of this lesson is transferring the definitions and notions of warehouses to the students, emphasizing of the types, process and functions of warehouses, choosing the location of warehouses and giving informations about warehouse design and shelf systems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   will be able to explain the notions about warehouses and warehouses administration
2   will be able to explain the differences between warehouses and bounded warehouses
3   will be able to give information about the process of warehouses
4   will be able to choose the most suitable location to set up a warehouse with some different methods and to develop analyzing ability of students
5   will be able to raise students awareness about internal warehouse designing
