Course Objective

The objective of this course is to give students an understanding of the environment in which international business operates and of the business practices required to compete successfully in global markets to develop the basic decision-making skills associated with managing different aspects of international business such as international marketing, human resources management, finance, and related legal issues.

4   Compare and contrast different political, legal, and economic systems and technological forces, individual differences among the peoples of tha world, and their impact on international management
5   Compare and contrast the modes of entry to international markets and the basic choices for organizing firms involved in international business
6   Discuss the managerial issues related to strategic planning, effective control and decision-making, most important elements of effective cross-cultural negotiation and communication , human resource management, tools and techniques used to provide motivation and incentives for, employees, and work teams, leadership in international organizations
