Department of Sculpture continues its master of art and sufficiency in art programmes, previously commenced in Dokuz Eylül University Institution of Social Studies in the academic year of 1988 / 89, from 2002 on, at the Fine Arts Institute of the same university . |

Profile of the Programme |
The Department of Sculpture takes the education of sculpture as a whole of undergraduate, postgraduate and sufficiency in art programmes. The programme comprises of such processes as recognition, experimentation, research and creativity. The department aspires to raise self confident, creative and contemporary individuals who are complete in every respect. |

Third Cycle (PhD/Doctorate, proficiency in art Degree) programmes is sufficient for the student to perform his profession in his/her field. A graduate of the Department of Sculpture Program can work in the field of art and in a production and designing position in the industrial field associated with his/her profession. Along with this, alumnis can evaluate their acedemical carier oppotunities by contiuning their proficiency in art programmes. |

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
The regulations for examination and grading are arranged in the fourth part of DEU Graduate School of Fine Arts Educational and Examinational Regulations. The lowest grade to be successful in a credit course is 75. Detailed assessment methods and criteria for courses are explained in syllabi. |
Graduation Requirements |
Third Cycle (Doctorate Degree) program is comprised of at least 7 courses, not being less than 21 national credits, pasing a gualifiying examination, preparing and defending a doctoral dissertation, in total 240 ECTS credits. |
