Course Objective

Aim of the course is to examine throughly the crimes regulated under the title "Crimes Against Persons" which constitutes the second chapter of the Turkish Penal Code.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   General evaluation of "Crimes against Persons" chapter of the Turkish Penal Code
2   Be able to discuss various elements of the crimes against persons
3   Be able to comment about crime types
4   Be able to learn and discuss penalties prescribed for crimes against persons
5   Be able to learn aggrieved and decreased forms of crimes
6   Be able to evaluate High Court case law and desicions of the European Court of Human Rights
