Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students summarize the general lines of the lives of non-muslim communities in the Ottoman society

1   1. To be able to summarize the general lines of the structure of Ottoman society
2   2. To be able to evaluate the relationships between Muslims and no-muslims in the Ottoman society
3   3. To be able to analyze the relationships between Muslims and non-muslims in the Ottoman society
4   4. To be able to explain the relationships between the state and non-muslim communities at the last period of the empire
