Course Objective

This course aims to equip all students with the knowledge and skills regarding the current IT course curriculum used in Turkish schools of all class levels. In order to achieve this aim, current curriculum approach, content, skills to be developed, methods, techniques, equipment and materials used, assessment and evaluation approaches, relationship between current IT course and other courses are planned to be taught to the students.

1   To be able to list the basic components of a curriculum
2   To be able to explain learning and teaching approach used in current IT course curriculum
3   To be able to explain the content, skills to be developed, methods, techniques, equipment and materials used, assessment and evaluation approaches used in current IT course curriculum
4   To be able to compare current IT course curriculum with the other countries IT curricula
5   To be able to discuss must-have teacher competencies regarding current IT course curriculum
