Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide experimental studies based on the general chemistry topics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   know the safety rules and chemical hygiene in the chemistry laboratory
2   propose methods for separation of mixtures and measure density of liquids
3   explain gase laws and acid-base neutralisation and measure pH
4   propose chemical experiments for equilibrium
5   synthesize acetylene from calcium carbide
