Course Objective

The primary objective of the course is to teach the comparative modern constitutional orders. Teaching the composition and powers of legislative, executive and judiciary branches and the relations between these three branches in American, British, French, German and Dutch constitutional orders is aimed.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to have a good knowledge of constitutional movements within the historical process
2   To be able to understand the thought of constitutionalism and the pure and modern principles of separation of powers.
3   To be able to learn the formation and structure of the legislative, executive and judiciary branches in comparative modern constitutional orders
4   To be able to learn the duties and powers of the legislative, executive and judiciary branches in comparative modern constitutional orders
5   To be able to have a good knowledge of the institutional, functional and personal relations between the legislative, executive and judiciary branches in comparative modern constitutional orders within the context of constitutional law
