Course Objective

The aim of the probation is to provide students an opportunity of converting their theoretical information into practice and gaining experience in the tourism sector before their graduation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn structural characteristics of tourism sector by experiencing.
2   Learn the characteristics of the sub-sectors and job structures in tourism.
3   Improve communication skills which are significantly required in tourism sector.
4   Convert the theoretical information into practice.

Assessment Criteria

At the end of the probation period the student should;
1-Know the structural characteristics of the tourism sector.
2-Know and explain the characteristics of different organizations in tourism sector.
3-Improve personal communication skills.
4-Convert theoretical information into practice.

1- Minimum 50 days of work is required.
2-Submission of the probation file and probation report is required.
3-Academic ethic rules should be taken into account during the probation period.
