Course Objective

This course is a laboratory practice of other courses of the program and covers hands-on tests to better understand materials behavior, interpretation of obtained results and development of report writing skills.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   be able to relate the theoretical knowledge with laboratory experiments,
2   be able to explain standardized test concepts,
3   be able to understand the necessity of performing test of materials according to the standards
4   be able to explain the importance of the sampling and sample preparation,
5   be able to perform laboratory experiments in order to determine certain material properties,
6   be able to solve problems that may occur during the performing test,
7   be able to work in teams,
8   be able to analyze and discuss the experimental test results, and write laboratory reports.
