Course Objective

Design for all approach is the intervention on the built environment accessible to everyone, conceived and without being dependent on anyone, will be available in a natural fashion. The aim of this course is to gain the necessary understanding and skills required for design for all approach.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, students, 1.will be able to define the concept of design for all
2   2. will be able to list the principles of design for all, universal design and inclusive design
3   3. will be able to describe the means of the principles of design for all in practice
4   4. will be able to apply the design for all principles to design products and spatial arrangements in appropriate scales.
5   5. will be able to analyze an existing design product in terms of suitability to principles of design for all.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course will be sustained with lectures, visual presentations, homework presentations and discussions. Homework assignments will be prepared in accordance with the course content and presented by the students.
