Course Objective

Expressing a specific idea and/or producing drawings for the product/service to be promoted, conducting research before production. Creating sketches and using design programs during the production process of drawings. Performing the presentation of advertising illustrations produced by utilizing technology and research facilities.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learning illustrations, types and techniques of illustration.
2   Learning advertisements, types of advertisement.
3   Learning and evaluating graphic design principles and elements in illustration.
4   Integrating visual elements related to the specified theme into advertising illustrations.
5   Developing aesthetic concern and solution proposals during production of advertising illustration.
6   Transferring qualities of the product / service to be advertised to the illustration practices.
7   Applying illustrations creatively to innovative design solutions.
8   Defining and applying visual integrity, digital formats, continuity principle.
