Course Objective

To teach linguistic terminology and to teach what linguistic field study on.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to comprehend linguistics field and use linguistics terminology.
2   Ability to describe language universals and Turkish.
3   Ability to follow and comment theoretical and practical studies, and suggest a proposal about new studies.
4   Ability to have point of view in the field of linguistics that is required Turkish as a foreign language teaching
5   Ability to use the linguistic data in teaching Turkish as a foreign language
