Course Objective

To provide advance knowledge and skills related to the use, efficiency and evidence-based practices of low, mild and high frequency currents, ESWT, complex therapy, ES, FES and other electro physical modalities in the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows and performs early and late-phase EPA applications, mechanisms, indications and contraindications in muscle injuries.
2   Knows and performs early and late-phase EPA applications, mechanisms, indications and contraindications in tendon injuries.
3   Knows and performs early and late-phase EPA applications, mechanisms, indications and contraindications in ligament injuries.
4   Knows and performs early and late-phase EPA applications, mechanisms, indications and contraindications in bone and joint injuries.
5   Knows and performs early and late-phase EPA applications, mechanisms, indications and contraindications in nerve injuries.
