Course Objective

Get knowledge about the conditions requiring acute care and physiotherapy methods used in these conditions by the student and improve his/her program creating ability, to teach and discuss cardiopulmonary interventions are aimed

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   know complex medical conditions ( brain injury, multiple injuries, burns, diabetes, ARSD etc.) and systemic influences
2   can make a physiotherapy assessment in intensive care and make record
3   know mechanical ventilators and their applications and can adapt them in physiotherapy programs
4   know and apply physiotherapy approaches specific to different diseases and conditions
5   can create a pulmonary rehabilitation program specific to patients
6   can inform the patients and their families about the pulmonary rehabilitation program and assessments
