Course Objective

This course will introduce students to a diverse array of theoretical and empirical issues related to the culture and psychology

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to describe basic concepts of cultural and cross-cultural psychology
2   To be able to describe the reasons of mainstream psychologists cultural insensitivity
3   To be able to identify cultural similarities and differences
4   To be able to recognize universal or cultural psycho-social processes
5   To be able to recognize the effect of cultural factors on human behavior, interpersonal relations and language.
6   To be able to perceive cultural variety in everyday life
