Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to introduce the concept of teacher candidates, mental health, emotional and behavioral problems in children to gain information about the research and theories related. To mediate children's mental development of safe and trouble to give information about the features. Protective and environmental stimuli and make students aware of the developer.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the basic concepts related to mental health.
2   Related to mental health symptoms in children can sort of normality and abnormality.
3   Diagnosis and differential diagnosis of common mental disorders in children sort procedures.
4   The scope of mental health intervention at the level of teamwork necessary to produce a protective and educative role of the definitions.
5   Explain to the family studies of mental health protection.

4 Diagnosis and treatment of behavioral and adjustment problems in children: the lower wetting (enuresis)
5 Jealousy, tics, stubbornness
6 Sleep disorders, eating habit disorders, anxiety
7 School phobia, theft, aggression
8 Midterm Exam
9 Attention deficit and hyperactivity
10 mental retardation
11 Autism
12 Dyslexia, lying, withdrawal
