Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to pre-school education program, teacher candidates' characteristics and pre-school education program implemented in Turkey and around the world the opportunity to learn about approaches, these models are compared, to provide them to distinguish between similar and different aspects.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   On the foundations of pre-school education program to remember the concepts.
2   Pre-school education program to explain the functioning of the application and evaluation processes.
3   To explain the different patterns of pre-school education in Turkey.
4   For children at risk in Turkey and in the world to have information about the different program models.
5   In the world to explain the different approaches in the field of pre-school education program (High Scope, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, The Netherlands Opstop, Bank Street, etc.)
6   Pre-school education in different countries to have information about the programs and applications.
7   Programs implemented in different countries to compare the program implemented in Turkey.
8   Implemented in Turkey to bring the proposal to the program.
