Course Objective

The main objective of the course is to introduce economic, social, political dimensions and consequences of urbanization and environmental management, how urbanization and environmental management developed in Turkey and the legislation on environmental and urban issues.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define the terminology of urbanization and environmental management.
2   Being able to tell the policies about urbanization and environmental management.
3   Being able to explain the historical development and problems of urbanization and environment.
4   Being able to assess the urban and environment policies
5   Being able to propose solutions for the urbanization and environmental problems
