Course Objective

In this course it is aimed to discuss the factors that effect to visual thinking and creativity with interdiciplinar art history examples.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to developed awareness of visual thinking that formed with cultural, sociologic, psychologic and scientific changings.
2   To be able to developed determining, analizing and solving skills with both visual and theoritical approaches in art expression.
3   To be able to developed creativity skills and analitical thinking.
4   To be able to developed to achieve with art and design background.
5   To be able to concieved changing of aesthetics in art history.
6   To be able to developed interpretion and criticism skills with different art theories.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course is conducted theoretically. Perception of art and traditional styles of cultures are presented by the instructor through exemplifications using visual materials and comparative analysis. Discussions and debates are encouraged in class in order for students to exchange their opinion.
