Course Objective

In Fashion and Apparel Design, providing creation and visualization skills from sketches to 3D models with 3d modelling methods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowledge of 3d modelling techniques as teorically and practically,
2   Application of cloths to a ready-made human models with 3d modeling techniques,
3   Visualization of 3d designed cloth designs in a scene,
4   Understanding of differences of 3d visualization techniques,
5   Solving the possible problems that are encountered in the process of 3d modeling and visualization.

2 Usage of cinema 4d interface and different interface windows,
3 Understanding simple object models and their specifications in cinema 4d,
4 Creating various compositions in order to reinforce the simple object model specifications.

8 Designing cloths with ready-made human models using advances box modeling techniques.
9 Applications of cloth designs from sketches to models on ready-made human models.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lessons
The instructor guides the students in creating projects and wants them to
implement upon shown examples.
Revision and research of new technologies, applied studio practices and
grading of exercises as well as encountered practical skills are shown
every week during the first and the last hour by the instructor. The
joining of in-class discussions, ideas about the preperations of projects
and the presentation of opinions is being incouraged.
Practice
In the process of practice the students are shown examples on which
methods can be used for production. Analogue to the shown examples within
three weeks test works are expected from the students.

Essays produced by the students shared in closed groups of students can be seen on the internet. Students' scores is the group members, get 50% Rate creating .On the second 50% of the students are determined by the Faculty offering the course.

Assessment Criteria

Creativity in homework practices, perceptions and skills qualifications will be considered.

1. Students are required to attend 70% of classes.
2. The Students who are not delivering projects on time and didn't attend classes, their excuses will not be accepted.
3. The person who don't deliver projects on time will not be accepted.
