Course Objective

The new Turkish Code of Obligation, which will into force on 1 July 2012, contains very important innovations and changes. For Students, who are Master's degree in Private Law, with the new Code a lot of information lose their actuality. This Situations irritating the new graduated and undergradued students.To resolve this anxiety organizing often symposiafor jurists throughout the country. However, these symposia topics cannot examinating sufficent dept because of the lack of time.Therefore aim of with this course, at least post-graduate private lawyers who wish to continue education this new Code and their innovations and changes better learn and spotting.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to To understand and interpretion the changes brought by the new provisions of the new Turkish Code of Obligations.
2   Be able to compare the Turkish Code of Obligations Act brought about changes and new provisions of the preceding provisions.
3   Be able to compare the Turkish Code of Obligations Act brought about changes and new provisions of the foreign provisions.
4   Be able to determine applicability of changes and new provisions brought by the Turkish Code of Obligations.
5   Be able to criticism and to specify shortcomings of of changes and new provisions brought by the Turkish Code of Obligations.
