Course Objective

In this course it is aimed that the students study and learn the language acquisition processes of children and adult bilinguals and the biological, social, and educational factors affecting these.

Assessment Criteria

The mid-term exam will be in the form of a written exam and the students presentations will be evaluated as in-class activities. The students will write an article as the final assignment.

Attendance at class meetings and handing in assignments in time are of importance. The students have to obey the ethical rules required by the acedemic society such as citation and reference while preparing their assignments.
