Course Objective

The aim of this interdisciplinary approach in artistic motivation is;
- To get student s to comprehend what is the meaning of interdisciplinary relationship between different art branches and other disciplines in process of artistic creation and art education,
- To get student s to comprehend the importance of motivation, its methods according to litherature and different kind of current samples in artistic creation process

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   knows the importance and necessity of motivation in artistic creation and art education process
2   knows motivation methods and how to realize motivation providing ways in this process
3   knows the concept of interdisciplinary in art and importance of approaches in accordance with this concept
4   knows how to practice interdisciplinary approaches in art education
5   knows the importance of interdisciplinary approaches in artistic motivation
6   with taking into account personal differences in education ability to use motivation sources with interdisciplinary approach

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Definition and Theories of Motiv (Impulse), Motivation (To get Impulse). Relationship between visual/plastic arts and other disciplines with interdisciplinary approach and analysis of subject on samples.
2 Introduction to relationship between artistic creativity, composing form and motivation concepts Analysis of current samples
3 In terms of artistic creation inner and outer factors Relationship between interdisciplinary approach in art and artistic motivation
4 Presentation book of Impulse of Creation and to associate content of source book to subject Repetition of done subjects and to pass judgment on subjects.
5 Motivation in art education and its sources, motivation types for levels Final exam
6 Methods of gaining motivation which is a status of gaining power to meet definite goals and methods of motive which is impulsive power to cause emotional (enthusiasm, wish,ambition) rising and which is directed behaviours in this way, energy giver, acted artist for definite goal (artistic product).
7 Intermediate Examination

9 What is interdisciplinary approaches in artistic creation What are this approach s types Examining this approach and its types.
10 Interdisciplinary approaches that we can find in art history, interaction of visual/plastic art branches and interaction between visual/plastic arts and other art branches.
