Course Objective

The main aim of this course is to reveal how to the Turks have been perceived in the Western literature, to what extent Western public opinion has been affected by texts produced as a result of this perception and the impacts of them to modern day.

2   To be able to state the place and importance of the Turks in the Western literature
3   To be able to understand the impacts of perception of the Turks in the Western literature on modern day
