Course Objective

The aim of this course the acquisition of awareness of ethical issues in the field of public health, to know public health ethics approach in the solution of the problems and the development of skills to pass them into practice.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to know the health and ethics relationships and basic concepts related to them
2   Be able to know the philosophical basis of the public health ethics, principles and analyses tools
3   Be able to know ethical issues in the public health
4   Be able to access to current and evidence-based resources in the field of public health ethics
5   Be able to identify basic ethical problems within the health care system and to find the solutions
6   Be able to discuss the laws related to public health and within the ethical context of them
