Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the students what are the features of a literary text. The fundamental theories on text analysis are introduced. . Information about the hermeneutics and semiotic text analysis is given and the texts are analysed with the help of this information

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Get information about text types, literary texts and their features, and texts analysis methods. yöntemleri hakkında bilgi edinme.
2   Get information about different texy types. Do sample studies on these different texts
3   Analyse the literary texts in different ways. By knowing the basic features of the literary texts comprehending the fundamental skills about the text analysis
4   Het information on text study, text analysis, text commentation/interpretation and critic
5   Able to prepare activities about these skills in order to use them in forein language classes. Have the ability to use different texts in teaching Turkish as a foeign language.
