Students who complete this course can define basic concepts related to children with special needs and special education.

1   Will be able to explain the basic concepts and theories of psychology.
2   Describes the basic terminology of psychology.
3   Will be able to explain the research methods commonly used in psychology.
4   Defines the major concepts of research methods.
5   Differentiates the main cognitive processes.
