Course Objective

This course aims to cater for the document writing requirements of a variety of professions. Document types such as press releases, web content and business reports will be produced, analyzed, evaluated and interpreted and the use of technology will be highlighted as a means of production and publication. Writing activities will cover such areas as writing for organisational management, writing for the media, writing for the web, writing for human resources, and writing for business.

1   Students should be familiar with a range of document types from a variety of professional contexts

3   Students should produce professional documents of various types to the standards defined by the European Commission
