General Description

History

Aim of Anatomy Masters Degree Program is students specialize in related fields and provides discipline, improve their skills. The main objective of the program, the required contributions to scientific issues related to the human body is capable of efficient and effective work discipline has gained the power to educate people with entrepreneurial skills. Masters Degree program is covered as courses and research the two-year. The first year taking courses related to the field of specialization and thesis preparation period. In addition to the compulsory courses in the curriculum, students specialize on the appropriate area, is an interdisciplinary elective courses. In the second year for the preparation and completion of the thesis is carried out. The program language is Turkish.

Specific Admission Requirements

Bachelor s Degree; having obtained at least 55 from relevant branch of Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) or from exams equivalence of which are accepted; in case of graduate of Faculty of Medicine having obtained at least 50 from Medical Specialty Exam (TUS); having obtained at least 50 from Foreign Language Exam (YDS) or from other foreign language exams equivalence of which are accepted or at least 55 from the exam held by DEU Foreign Languages Institute. Transcript; having obtained at least 65 from the Post Graduate Science Exam.

Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

According to the Regulations of Dokuz Eylül University for Graduate Schools, students are not connected to the right for internal transfer, previously taken courses at another graduate programme by another university with a successful grade may be recognized by the related programmes after the letter of the students includes course contents and the transcript, and by the recommendation of the head of the departments and by the decision of the Board of Directors. The courses taken by the outgoing Exchange students have the recognition at the school either as compulsory or elective.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Second Cycle (Masters Degree) Programme with thesis is comprised of courses (at least 54 ECTS), a seminar (2 ECTS), and field study (4 ECTS) and thesis (60 ECTS) credits. İn total 120 ECTS credits. Students must have minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50/4.00 and completed all the courses with at least CB / S / TP grades.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

Mid-term evaluation of the students lessons or homework, project assessment and final exam, done with. To be successful in this course must be received at least 75.
