Course Objective

Define the study area of Historical Musicology and explain difrrences between methods of historical musicology and the other disciplines of musicology.

10 Aesthetic of music and studies of aesthetic of music
11 Historical studies on performance styles.
12 Music paleography and notation. Iconography and organology.

14 New approacs in the studies of historical musicology.
