Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide the students with the knowledge of fundamental recording systems and software and using these tools for audio and video production, editing etc.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1	Identify mobile recording devices and use them,
2	Use computer based DAW and video software,
3	Understand and edit audio and video data,
4	Make format changes without data loss,
5	Apply the techniques required for data storage, format changing and data transfer.

The class will be held in an active manner where each student will use, work, edit etc. with audio individually in computer lab.

Class participation, active involvement in class, problem solving skills, active participation in the applications and skills in evaluating the results are the main requirements for the course. Late arrivals after the first ten minutes will not be permitted and the student will be considered as not available.
