Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide the students with the knowledge of notation systems in Turkish Music in an historical context.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students who successfully complete this course should be able to: Understand the technical details of writing notations in Turkish Music,
2   Understand notation systems with its universal context,
3   Improve the knowledge of pitch,
4   Use computer notation software in computers,
5   Write notes in Turkish notation system in the notation software.
