Course Objective

This course aims to make students able to analyze the findings of their field research and being able to write and present the results ethnographically

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Design a field research,
2   Transfer his/her theoratical knowledge to different issues,
3   Analyze the data gathered from the field research,
4   Determine the literature related to his/her research topic,
5   Combine the findings of field research and literature,
6   Accomplish the research project by using convenient techniques and presenting it in the class,
7   Submit the findings of field research in an essay.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Instructor will explaine the note taking techniques and writing principles of field research and discuss the related readings with the students. Students' assignments will be discussed in the light of the case studies explained by the instructor during the class.Instructor will direct students to ask and answer questions about the assignments.
