Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach students how science historically developed in different civilizations and to instruct the historical process that gave rise to modern science.

2   2. List scientific achievements of different civilizations in Ancient and Medieval history.
3   3. Identify important Muslim scientists who effected the Western science
4   4. Explain the main features of science in Renaissance

6   6. Describe the transformations in astronomy, physics and medicine from Ancient to Modern times.
