Course Objective

To get a general knowledge on systematic and identification of animals living especially in Turkey and all of the earth, to understand the anatomical structures, reproductive behavior, systematical position and how animals living on their environmental areas, to understand the animal life taking place on the earth, to research about animals is taken over.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn the diagnostic characters using in plant systematics.
2   Recognize invertebrate and describe the major groups of vertebrate.
3   Say and write their classifications and distributions.
4   Say and write the differences and similarities between invertebrate and vertebrate.
5   Identify the animal specimens.
