Course Objective

To explain the learning theories that can be used to teach biology effectively and to design activities which are appropriate to those theories. To recognize different methods and techniques used in biology. To observe and identify students' conceptual development.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Use different teaching methods and techniques in lessons. 2   Observe and evaluate the conceptual development of a secondary school student 3   Determine secondary biology students' misconceptions and faults. 4   Identify various learning theories.
