Course Objective

The course aims to present the basic principles of evolution

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain how life might have originated on this planet. 2   Contrast alternate models for macroevolution. 3   Relate broad patterns in the fossil record to major geological events and plate tectonic movement. 4   Describe the principal interactions between different species and how they affect the respective species. 5   Explain the large scale patterns of biodiversity.
