Course Objective

Formation of the earth, big-bang theory, formation of the solid earth, hydrosphere, atmosphere, formation of the rocks, formation of the earth movement, earthquake and volcanoes, soil formation from the rocks

Week Subject Description 1 Definition and scope of the geology 2 Basic information about the earth. 3 The shape and dimensions of the earth, motion of the earth. 4 Geo-sphere of the earth, gravith, earth temperature. 5 The age of earth, the compenent of the earth. 6 Minerals, definition and properties. 7 Rocks from minerals, rocks, definition and general information. 8 Mid-term exam 9 Mağmatic rocks , metamorphic rocks. 10 Sediment rocks, dissolution and soil kind of dissolution. 11 Formation of the soil, kind of soils. 12 Techtonic and orojenic motions. 13 Fault, Volcanoes. 14 Earthquakes. 15 End-of-term exam
