Students will be able to comprehend the rational and stages of the scientific research and to link it with physics education

1   After completing this course, students will be able to comprehend the stages, methods and concepts of a scientific research
2   After completing this course, students will be able to evaluate the concepts, ideas and data in physics education by using scientific researh methods
3   After completing this course, students will be able to evaluate the research papers in physics education by using their knowledge
4   After completing this course, students will be able to use the internet to follow the physics education literature
5   After completing this course, students will be able to design a research proposal by using their course knowledge

5 Methodological examination of the academic papers regarding misconception determination in physics
6 Methodological examination of the academic papers regarding conceptual change in physics
7 Midterm exam
8 Methodological examination of the academic papers regarding alternative teaching methods and techniques in physics education
