Course Objective

Be able to learn structure and properties of organic molecules

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   . Term alkane, alkene and alkyne hydrocarbons
2   . Comprehend physical properties of alkane, alkene and alkyne hydrocarbons
3   To be able to represent/do alkane, alkene and alkyne hydrocarbons with models
4   . Learn intramolecular and inter molecular bonds, hybrid forms, bond types and bond counts of alkane, alkene and alkyne hydrocarbons
5   Learn distillation techniques
6   Procure cleaning products such as soap and detergent and learn soap, detergent kinds.
7   Learn surface tension, surface active agent and saponification concenpts
8   Identify polymerization reactions.
