Course Objective

To express the importance of nutrition, to know what to do for a healthy diet, to know about nutrition insufficiency and problems and choosing proper food for nutrition.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Define basic concepts and principles of nutrition 2   Explain the basic structure and functions of nutrients. 3   Prepare a diet plan for different age s children. 4   Select proper food for pregnant and lactating woman and newborns 5   Explain diseases about food and nutrition 6   Know the importance of nutrition and recognize the nutrition problems
